Shahid is CEO and Director of Smart Technology (Pvt) Ltd. He has worked for 25 years in Siemens and 9+ years with CGR, France in Saudi Arabia. Although he spent major part of his professional life with multinationals he has worked for Pakistani business houses as well. He has vast experience in general management, sales, services and technical areas. Shahid has in-depth knowledge of all major medical machinery and hospital industry of Pakistan. He has been consultant to many hospitals in Pakistan. He has done major projects in LED lighting.
Shahid is an Electronics Engineer and has been Chairman of Electro-medical equipment, Pakistan Standard Quality Regulatory Authority. He has been trained in Germany, France, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Italy.
Ishtiaqul Haque is Director of the Company.
He has worked in Siemens for around 32 Year in different Positions and was head of Product and system division in Siemens Pakistan. He has vast experience in general management. Factory, management, Sales, Services, and technical area. He has in depth knowledge of manufacturing technology in electrical capital goods industry. He is a qualified lead auditor ISO 9000 quality management system as well as certified energy auditor. He is a Professional electrical engineer registered with PEC. And Fellow member of I E E E P. He has widely traveled around the world and visited more than 3 dozen big manufacturing set-up of transformer, switch-gear and component manufacturing.
Majid Latif is Management Consultant to Smart Technology since February 1, 2016. Majid was Group Chief Operating Officer of National Technology Group, Saudi Arabia. Majid has all-encompassing hands-on management experience of full spectrum of business functions. During the career he has managed and been responsible for P&L of a business or a function for over 20 years. He has over 12 years’ experience of directly managing ICT-MIS function and more than 15 years’ experience of directly managing HR at the corporate and business unit level. In his career he has worked in various types of establishments including large and medium size enterprises.
He has vast general management experience, and rich and varied experience at leadership positions of primary business areas of sales and marketing, production, logistics as well as in corporate management functions such as human resources, finance, information and communication technology, audit, corporate and legal affairs, strategy, planning, project management office (PMO), and business process reengineering (BPR). In his previous job he was the Chief Operating Officer of Jaffer Brothers Private Limited (JBL), Pakistan. He was Member Board of Directors of JBL and its sister companies. He was also Member Board of Governors of Murshid Hospital & Health Care Centre (MHHCC), and JBL Management Representative at MHHCC. He has worked in Pakistan and abroad, at Pakistani, Saudi and prestigious multinational organizations (Siemens, NCR). He has successfully interfaced with a very large base of customers, multitude of principals (multinationals), dealers, contractors, software development and implementation companies and management consulting firms. His main focus has been business management but he has also designed and conducted management training programs.
He has a degree in engineering and has received wide-ranging management and technical training from France, Germany, Holland, Malta, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Singapore, UK, and USA. He is an alumnus of INSEAD, France. He is a member of the Management Association of Pakistan, Life Member of Marketing Association of Pakistan, and a Life Member of the Computer Society of Pakistan.
Dr. Suhail Qureshi is Executive Director of Smart Technology Systems (Pvt) Ltd. He worked in Siemens Pakistan Engineering Company Limited for 21 years. He started Solar business in Siemens in 1987 as business unit head, and installed and managed huge number of PV (photovoltaic) systems in telecommunication, oil and gas sector, water pumping and home lighting, etc. In 2008, he was awarded a gold medal by the management of Siemens on successful management of famous Light for Life Project, which won a large number of awards as the best CSR project.
During his tenure in Siemens, he was also involved in hospital equipment planning. From 2008 till 2013, he performed as manager projects in healthcare sector. In 2013, he joined Unicon Limited WLL, Qatar as Projects manager in Electrical Division and managed projects of underground MV, LH and HV cables and construction and commissioning of sub-stations for Qatar General Electricity Department (Kahramaa). From 2014 he worked in Mannai Trading Company WLL, Qatar in Medical Division, heading medical technical services department and sales activities of teaching equipment and hospital infra-structure equipment.
He is a graduate of Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore. In 201? became the first medical doctor to achieve PMP certification in the Asia Pacific region. He is the member of PMI Lahore Chapter.
